Known as "The Poor Man's Silver" mercury was used to create unique light shades in the early 1900's.   A unique pair of shades painted green on the exterior along with it's original fitters at the top.  Mercury glass is made in part by having a double wall of thin glass which is then painted with a silvery Mercury.  Note: There are some blemishes on the shades in areas - however there are no chips, cracks or breaks.  We do have 3 additional pairs of shades should you need more than 2. 

Measurements:  7 1/4" by 6 1/4" with a 4 3/4" projection.
